Child Safety Standards
Last updated: March 1, 2026
SeedShare, a product of Mama Fua Technologies Ltd (“we,” “our,” or “us”), is committed to creating a safe environment for all users. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) content on our platform and are dedicated to preventing, detecting, and responding to any such material or behavior.
Our Commitment
SeedShare is a seed exchange community for gardeners and farmers. While our platform is designed for adults sharing seeds and gardening knowledge, we take proactive measures to protect minors and prevent any misuse of our platform.
1. Age Restrictions
SeedShare is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly allow minors under the age of 13 to create accounts. Users between 13 and 17 may use the app only with parental or guardian consent. We implement age verification measures during account registration to enforce this policy.
2. Prohibited Content and Behavior
The following content and behavior is strictly prohibited on SeedShare and will result in immediate action:
- Any child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including images, videos, or text
- Content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors in any way
- Grooming behavior or any attempt to solicit minors
- Sharing, distributing, or requesting CSAE content
- Using the platform to make contact with minors for exploitative purposes
- Any content that promotes, glorifies, or normalizes harm to children
3. Detection and Prevention
We employ multiple measures to detect and prevent CSAE content on our platform:
- Content Moderation: All user-uploaded images and content are subject to moderation review
- Automated Scanning: We use automated tools to detect and flag potentially harmful content
- User Reporting: We provide easy-to-use in-app reporting mechanisms for users to flag concerning content or behavior
- Account Monitoring: We monitor accounts for suspicious patterns of behavior that may indicate exploitation
- Profile Review: New accounts and profile changes are reviewed for compliance with our policies
4. Reporting Mechanisms
SeedShare provides multiple ways to report child safety concerns:
- In-App Reporting: Users can report any content or user profile directly within the app using the report button available on all user profiles, messages, and seed listings
- Email: Reports can be sent directly to support@seedshareapp.com
- Priority Response: All child safety reports are treated as the highest priority and are reviewed within 24 hours
We encourage all users to report any content or behavior that they believe may endanger children. All reports are treated confidentially.
5. Enforcement and Response
When CSAE content or behavior is identified, we take immediate action:
- Immediate Removal: Any identified CSAE content is removed from the platform immediately upon detection
- Account Suspension: Accounts found to be involved in CSAE are permanently banned without warning
- Law Enforcement Notification: We report all identified CSAE material and behavior to the relevant law enforcement authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via CyberTipline
- Evidence Preservation: We preserve relevant data and evidence as required by law to assist with investigations
- Regional Reporting: We comply with all regional and national reporting requirements and report to the appropriate authorities in the relevant jurisdictions
6. Staff Training and Accountability
Our team members who are involved in content moderation and user safety are trained on identifying and responding to CSAE content. We maintain clear internal procedures for escalating and handling child safety concerns, and we regularly review and update our training materials and processes.
7. Cooperation with Authorities
SeedShare fully cooperates with law enforcement agencies and child protection organizations worldwide. We comply with all applicable laws regarding the reporting and handling of CSAE material, including but not limited to:
- Reporting to NCMEC CyberTipline (United States)
- Compliance with regional and national child protection laws
- Cooperation with international law enforcement agencies upon lawful request
- Preservation and disclosure of data as required by applicable legal processes
