Our mission is to preserve agricultural biodiversity by connecting gardeners worldwide in a community dedicated to saving and sharing heirloom seeds.

Since 1900, we've lost 75% of our crop diversity. Commercial agriculture favors uniformity\u2014but uniformity is fragile. Climate change, new pests, and diseases threaten monocultures. Heirloom varieties, adapted over generations to local conditions, are our best insurance for the future.

SeedShare exists to make seed saving accessible to everyone. We provide the tools, knowledge, and community connections needed to grow, save, and share seeds\u2014keeping rare varieties alive for future generations.
